Puerto Banús is roughly 30 km from Fuengirola, and the drive is typically 30 to 40 minutes on the A-7, with the AP-7 toll road as a faster alternative when traffic through Marbella and San Pedro is heavy. There is no railway anywhere near Puerto Banús — Marbella municipality has never had a Cercanías connection — so the journey is by car, taxi or the coastal bus route.
