Social Club for Mijas and Las Lagunas

Mijas is three places in one — the pueblo in the hills, Las Lagunas on the flat, and the coastal strip running towards Marbella. All three border Fuengirola, and for most residents the nearest private social club is here rather than inside their own municipality.

Las Lagunas runs straight into Fuengirola; for many streets it is a five to ten minute drive, with M-series local buses connecting the two continuously. Mijas Pueblo is around 8 km uphill on the A-387, roughly fifteen minutes.

There is no Cercanías station inside Mijas municipality, so Fuengirola station acts as the local rail hub for the whole area.
