Mijas Costa is the coastal strip that runs southwest from Fuengirola towards Marbella: Torrenueva, Riviera del Sol, Calahonda, La Cala de Mijas and the urbanisations behind them. It is largely residential and holiday accommodation, with few indoor social spaces once the beach chiringuitos close for the season — which is why a good part of our membership comes from here.
Getting to the club from Mijas Costa
La Cala de Mijas is about 10 km from Fuengirola, roughly 12 to 15 minutes on the A-7. Calahonda and Riviera del Sol are 15 to 20 minutes. The M-112 and M-220 buses run the coast road, and taxis between the two are a short, predictable fare.
