The first thing to understand is that these are not shops open to the public, and they are not the same as a Dutch coffeeshop where anyone can walk in and buy something over the counter. A Spanish cannabis social club is a private, non-commercial association, and you must become a registered member before you can be admitted at all.
That registration cannot be completed remotely from your home country before you fly out. You can start the sign-up online, but it always finishes in person with your original ID once you arrive — you must be 21 or over, and a passport is normally sufficient identification for visitors.
It is worth planning around this rather than treating it as a spontaneous stop on a night out. Message the club on WhatsApp before or shortly after you land, explain that you are visiting, and the team will tell you what they need and roughly what to expect on arrival.
